Clinical Psychology is concerned with healing but not necessarily of patients that are bedbound. Many people have mental illnesses or phobias that require treatment and these treatments can include psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. Clinical psychology is an interesting field if you wish to pursue higher education and career prospects. The US is a good country in which to pursue a clinical psychology masters because of the large variety of Universities and Schools that offer online as well as regular courses. The word ‘clinic’ is derived from ‘clinicus’ which is Latin and means a doctor who attends to sick patients.
