A doctor-patient relationship is one that is largely based on faith. As patients, we will often accept the recommendations of our doctors without having the slightest knowledge of the science behind the medicines they’re prescribing or the training behind the surgical procedures that they might be about to perform. Nevertheless, our health is our most precious asset so it is wise to do a little background checking on the medical doctor credentials before we entrust him or her with such an important asset.
