Holland’s Theory Of Career Choice: Predominant Male Personality

In conformity with John holland's theory of career choice, men tend to be associated with these three of the six personality traits—investigative, realistic, and enterprising. People with investigative personalities enjoy working with and exploring different concepts and scientific theories. People such as chemists, researchers, and science or math teachers have this personality. Realistic personalities involve people who are well coordinated and like activities that require strength. These people are not extremely sociable. They would rather work with machines and tools. Builders, military drivers, mechanics, farmers, etc. are in this category. Holland’s Theory of Career Choice also finds males to be enterprising. They like to be in commanding positions. They like to be leaders of others. These are people like lawyers, salespersons, managers, and entrepreneurs.
