How Organic Sheets are made

April 16th, 2008 | by admin |

Organic sheets are made from a variety of different fabrics, but all organic sheets are made following the government imposed laws and regulations. Organic cotton must be grown in a field that has been chemical and pesticide free for at least three years. It is also treated with natural pesticides. This means that if there is a pest problem, the farmer may decide to introduce another insect to deal with the pest, rather than spraying chemicals. The cotton, if dyed, is treated with an eco-friendly, low impact dye. The cotton is also kept separate from anything that might taint it and compromise its organic quality. The government also strictly oversees organic cotton production at every stage of production to ensure that a quality product is made.
