A special screening is done for these people, which helps in detecting the cancer. Though the survival rate doesn’t change drastically, this process helps in getting the mortality rate a little lower. The first step in diagnosing the cancer includes studying the symptoms and conducting a radiological screening while the second step would be conduct a tissue screening. This process is very important because it helps in knowing the type of cancer- small cell lung cancer or non-small cell lung cancer. The final step in the entire process is the staging, which will help in knowing the cancer as well as the resilient power of the human being to undergo anti-tumor activities.
