What is Sarbanes Oxley
June 15th, 2009 | by admin |I recently went from a small real estate department in a small city to a publicly traded company in a large city. All this talk I heard about Sarbanes Oxley Section 302 and I thought it was a real estate procedure that we did not have in the small town. Now come to find out it is not about real estate at all. Here I went into this company hearing these buzz words and now I know it is about the regulations of a traded company. How in the world did they come up with the name and why not have something that made sense to the average person?
