Fingerprint Access- Will the Lock and key Be Obsolete?

However, the functions for which Fingerprint Access technology are being used are quite astonishing in their scope. Nowadays, almost anything that could be used to hold secured data or items can be kept safe with biometric locking systems that require Fingerprint Access. This was a concept that has been in science fiction before the actual technology was available. Now it is being used in the most prosaic of objects anywhere there is a risk of tampering or theft. It is foreseeable that eventually, the lock and key will finally be rendered obsolete for moderate to high security functions.
