Evaluating the Vendor’s Work in ERP Software Implementation
October 16th, 2009 | by admin |While the vendor should be allowed to carry out the work of installing erp mrp software in a business with a reasonable degree of liberty, the company still has an obligation to continuously evaluate the performance of the vendor. What should guide this evaluation is the contract entered into at the beginning of the exercise.To make sure that the vendor is meeting the requirements set out in the contract, the management of the company should at different intervals observe the work done and confirm that it is conforming to schedule. Where vendor is failing to meet contractual arrangements, attempts should be made to obtain corrective actions.
