Caught a bit of naughty malware from the internet

Help! It seems that I have caught a bit of naughty malware from the internet. For the past few days, I get Internet Explorer pop ups while I use Firefox. I have run some Anti Spyware programs, but I still get the popups. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of this? Thanks
