Sarbanes Oxley Section 404: All Encompassing

The legislation being referred to is sarbanes oxley section 404. SARBOX 404 although tiny in size poses a monumental task for corporations to adhere to. In short, section 404 requires all publicly-traded corporations to fully document their internal controls and reporting procedures for all financial transactions. And that is no easy task; for it encompasses almost every department within the corporation, esp. in the areas of accounting and information technology (IT).
